Just been out to have a look. What James says. So try getting some penetrating fluid in there (not ordinary WD-40). What's the access like from inside the wheel arch with a long drill bit? And if it becomes necessary to remove the arch consider using nylon fasteners when you replace it. The idea is that in a collision they'll break first with less damage to the arch and body. It's good to hear of success. More, please. When this has come up in the past it usually hasn't ended with a working system. NB current drain at rest varies enormously between different Sevens. Battery isolation isn't difficult and might make all the difference for some. Jonathan

I have: Assembly Guide (160) 2016 (that's an old style text-rich version) Assembly Guide (160) amendments and various Owner's Handbooks that cover the 160. And Assembly-Guide SUZUKI 1.1 170 2022 which is a new-style pictorial version for the 170. Does anyone have any other documents that they can share? And was there ever a pictorial version Assembly Guide for the 160? Thanks Jonathan

Can I check your current (!) set-up... single telltale on the dash which is now an LED, but the indicators themselves are still incandescent lamps? Does the telltale light up appropriately when signalling both left and right? (Because I don't understand how that can work... ) Thanks Jonathan

Yes. Several discussions of this in the archives. From what I can tell most people end up putting some tape across the lamp, with or without a hole in it. It may be possible to do it electronically, but it' s not as simple as with incandescent lamps. If you have the LED spec there are some clever people here who'll describe the components needed. TTBOMK no-one has found a proprietary controller that works. Jonathan PS: Does your Seven have one or two telltales for the indicators... and if one did you do the diode trick when you changed to an LED? PPS: The Sunbeam Stiletto had translucent eyelids on each lamp.

Always the same... as soon as I've committed to print.... Is the same <title> tag used in the displayed legend on tabs in the browser? Because if so then changing as I've suggested would make them all look the same! What's the best solution with the two conflicting use cases? Jonathan

A minor non-urgent hope-it's-not-too-late point... Page titles at present are constructed: New website - feedback and ideas - Page 5 - Test and Ideas - Caterham and Lotus Seven Club This makes them hard to find on alphabetic-sorted pull-down menus in the browser. If they looked like: Caterham and Lotus Seven Club - New website - feedback and ideas - Page 5 - Test and Ideas it would be much easier because they would always be in the same place. "Have I missed anything?" Ethylene glycol is poisonous. I'd do a final check on any that's left over, including safety caps on containers, what the bottle looks like, and where it is and possible access by children. Jonathan
