I don't know how to fix that skin. But many of use nylon bolts to attach wings in the hope that they will fail first and cheaply. And IIRC some deliberately weaken the nylon bolt further. Jonathan

There's always been enough colour difference on mine to spot the transition. Have you directly compared old and new? I wouldn't deliberately introduce air as a marker. Which gearbox? There are multiple reports of oil leaking around the selector shaft. Jonathan

The beeper lives near the steering column. I think that on most Sevens it resembles a coin with a couple of wires. Cutting one should do the job. Please let me know if you'd like the appropriate wiring diagram. Some Members muffle them. Jonathan PS: It might or not be THE RED WIRE!

While we're all checking part numbers... • Can you add a photo of the timer unit showing the terminals. • Is there a two number or two number + letter Bosch ID on it? • There's a known interaction between the circuits for the hazard warning lights and the indicators. A fault in the hazard warning light switch can cause the indicators to fail. • Did you swap incandescent lamps for LEDs as part of that work? Jonathan

The heater circuit should be open. And you can add a bleeding T-piece in the highest part of that. If this wouldn't work for some reason please add some photos. Jonathan

If there's going to be a mechanical reduction gearbox could you use a design where the output isn't inline with the input? That could reduce the angulation of the drive shaft. Jonathan
