  1. "If I can convince myself it won't just eat them I might order one just to check fit under the cycle wings before jumping for a full set." After all the help that you've given to so many of us... including the home visits... how about asking if someone will offer one on a wheel for you to try? Jonathan
  2. "Anyone else got any experience of R888Rs?" A few more... Jonathan
  3. Yokohama Advan Neova AD08RS - 195/50 R15 82V TL at Camskill Jonathan
  4. That's lamp units rather than bulbs? I'd start by asking Redline. Jonathan
  5. The most complete... thread. Jonathan
  6. Can you add a nose-on photo to show the angle of the track rods? A big thread on bump steer, including what and how to measure and some history. Jonathan
  7. Thanks for chasing that, John. Jonathan
  8. Thanks. I recommend that site-restricted searching with an external search engine. It's convenient to keep it as a bookmark, and it's in my Signature. https://www.google.com/search?q=site:lotus7.club ... and add search terms and restrictions according to taste. Jonathan
  9. Halfords equivalent part number. NB Club discount. Rimmer Bros as linked in the same thread have them in stock. Jonathan PS: "I searched before posting but nothing popped up that solved my issue?" Which search method did you use? Here's what I used which found that as the top hit: https://www.google.com/search?q=site:lotus7.club+halfords+oil+filter+k That's using Google searching with site restriction.
  10. Updates on the availability of the Banner battery and equivalents: 2019 2021. Jonathan
  11. Thanks, Ian... from Tayna? Jonathan
  12. Part Two What's the best battery these days? (i try to keep that updated with the answer!) Jonathan
  13. Part One Are you sure that they are no longer available? I suggest working through this thread: https://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/tayna-seemingly-no-longer-selling-banner-batteries and could you then update us, please. Jonathan
  14. Edited: Crossed post. Yes. "Quick release". Those are Dzus Panex, and I don't know about compatibility. Jonathan
  15. Check the voltage at the output terminal of the fog light switch as well as seeing the light in the switch illuminate. Jonathan
  16. Check fog light fuse. If that's OK check fog light switch. Do you have a multimeter? Jonathan
  17. Thanks for posting. It's helpful to have the factory's advice. In addition, and as in the many other times that this has been discussed: 1 Sevens last a long time. Rubber and plastic components in the fuel system might not last as long. Think of them as consumables. 2 Materials approved for use in vehicles have been tested for resistance to ethanol for several decades. But other materials might be used in Sevens in modifications, upgrades and eg DIY gaskets. Jonathan
  18. This is the layout in the early 1.4 K Assembly Guide: Jonathan
  19. The wiring did change after early Ks. The relay layout is in the Assembly Guide. I have both versions: please let me know if you'd like a copy of the diagrams Jonathan
  20. The factory Banner batteries are vented flooded lead acid batteries. The Powervamp and Odyssey (and similar) batteries that many of us have in Sevens are AGM type, not gel type, lead acid batteries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead–acid_battery#Absorbent_Glass_Mat_(AGM) Jonathan
  21. While we wait for the Duratec experts... ... "The other day i did find some coolant around the rad and on the chassis below. could not locate a leak or weap." I'd want to know where that's coming from. And liquids can track a long way from their source! I suggest cleaning everything and putting some absorbent white paper in relevant places. ... How many electric cooling fans does it have and do they come on appropriately? ... Let me know if you'd like the wiring diagrams. Jonathan
