  1. Usual advice: consider including a couple of USB charging sockets. Jonathan
  2. You can sometimes get a good look with a smart ‘phone’s camera and screen. And I’d definitely identify and fix the problem before changing the lamp unit. Jonathan
  3. The high beam flasher might use a different fuse from the main light switch. Jonathan
  4. IIRC it switches the live feed. And uses the common earth near the lamp unit. Jonathan
  5. Sorry, on a small screen. There’s a very recent thread with my suggested diagnostic pathway, which includes measuring voltage at the main light switch. Pls can someone add a link. Layout of fuses and relays is in the Owner’s Handbook. But beware variations. Map your own to be certain: it will save time. Jonathan
  6. I’m on a ‘phone so pls pardon brevity. Yes, check plunger action. You can open the standard switch and try to improve the contact, but there’s a spring just waiting to make a bid for freedom. Do it in a box. But there’s a much better switch available: lots of references in the archives. Jonathan
  7. Ah yes, I remember it well. From the Tool Tube Bulk Buy. Thanks for all the work Jonathan
  8. There's a lot of experience and advice in the Seven Insurance thread: Jonathan
  9. Well done, and thanks for adding the answer. I was running out of ideas, as you could tell. Jonathan
  10. Thanks Have you checked the "side lights" fuse? Jonathan
  11. Thanks If *you can post that here we can then work out why there's no feed to the main light switch. Jonathan * Or I! : - )
  12. Thanks. That narrows it down. How are you identifying the fuses and relays? There are several different layouts... Jonathan
  13. We hang ours on a line tied to a tree. Jonathan
