  6. Hi Nick I use Redline MTL which was recommended by Road Race Transmissions. I did change my engine mounts, but they looked ok. I bought 2 bottles when I did mine. Opie Oils are competitive and offer a delivery service. I think we get a club discount too. John
  7. Hi Steve I have Nick Smith's instructions which may be of help, I have sent you a message. John
  8. If you are using the the old type gasket it may pay to drill two or three holes in the wide section to help drain the oil back in to the sump.
  9. Well, started the 7 up today and the rev counter was working.
  10. Hi Jonathan Thank you for your reply. I did drive past RNAS Culdrose on my blat! I will have a good look at the wiring this weekend to see if all the connections are good. It was working when I parked the car up at home, but failed to work when I stated it up again. A copy of the wiring diagram may be useful. Many thanks for your help. John
  11. Good evening all My rev counter has stopped working. I'm pretty sure I heard a clicking sound before it stopped working. Anyone have any ideas what the issue might be? Many thanks.
  12. Lubrication of the lower spherical joints has done the trick. Many thanks
  13. The spacer washers are as per the manual. I will try lubrication first? Thanks for all the replies.
  14. Good morning all I've found my steering to be very heavy over the years and it has a reluctance to self centre. I spotted a post on Facebook where an owner had a similar issue. They resolved this issue by loosening the big nut on the rack and adjusting the locking pin in the middle and re-tightening the big nut. Apparently, this transformed the operation of the rack. As anyone else had this issue and resolved it in the same manner. Many thanks John
