  11. Cheers Mark It will help My 21 as always been fast, I could follow Paul's car, a 250bhp monster. It would be a good idea if i ask someone to check the VVC timing to see how "good it is" 😬. I might be very lucky. Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  12. Ok Oily Point taken! I am not looking for a high revving engine. The present rev limiter is set very nicely for me (@7200rpm I think. ) My aim is just to improve the VVC engine and have more torque/power at the same revs. 180bhp would already be a 20-to 30 bhp improvements, which is quite good (I’m running a 52mm tb). Maybe I should just go for your kit K06a and upgrade later on to an Emerald+tb's. If I understand correctly, the forged pistons are needed only if the engine revs high. Therefore, if I do not change the current rev limit I must be ok. Is it impossible to have the perfect timing? If yes, is it just a question of time and patience? Could you do it? Why vernier is not available yet? I am sure there is a demand for them as for the VVC Emerald. Maybe some is knows when they will be available. Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  13. Oily With Emerald Mems TBs Direct to head throttle bodies Airbox Decent 4-2-1 exhaust head ported hotter exhaust cams forged piston, how much power do you think a vvc can produce @ ? Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  14. Wait a few month and get a Emerald Mems for VVC and fit some DTH TB's. It's what i'm going to do 😬 And have the head ported and a new exhaust manifold and more aggressive exhaust cams. Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  15. I have a few technical questions: 1.Which are the reasons why a head gasket fails? Overheating, ageing of the head gasket? 2.What are the differences between a single point and multi point injection MPi? What are the advantages of the Mpi? Thank for sharing your knowledge with us Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

  17. I am looking to extract some more power out of my VVC until the Emerald will be ready. I thought the later mems would extract this little bit more power. So Bob if you have any indication of power increase could you let us know? Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  18. Dave Do Something different fit the twin spark 2.5 V6 by Alfa. It would be very interesting and i'm sure you have the room, if Clive and Andrew wanted to fit a V8 in MLE 😬 Have fun Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

  24. In my quest for a new engine the Duratec was the main option as i could supercharged it quite easly. The only problem is the exhaust is on the "wrong side". I have my air filter where the exhaust woud be. Is it possible to rotate the block 180 degrees? Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
