The other type i found was those one http://www.drapertools.com/b2c/B2CITMDSP.pgm?task=showbigpic&PP_skmno=31497 The "double hooks" are too big, so I was thinking of cuting one side of the double hook. My only concern in cutting one side off is that he will not be balance as the thread will be on one side. What do you think? I have undone one damper from the car, front driver side, I wanted to swap my dampers for adjustable Bilstein. The problem I have is re-fitting the older one, I can fit the top mounting bolt, but I cannot fit the bottom one, the dampers has expanded and I cannot force it back, if the spring was compressed I would be able to fit it. I have tried the trick with cable ties but that doesn't work either The adjustable Bilstein are originally from a Seven and to fit them to a 21, the top mount needs to be changed, this is why I need a spring compressor Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

Hello I wanted to change the dampers this weekend. I bought a spring compressor at Halfords, and realised and having undone one dampers that they are too big. Went back to Halfords look for a smaller one, found nothing so I went to my local motor factor. The spring compressors he had were also too big. And now I cannot fit the old damper back on. It would be great if someone could lend me a spring compressor which will fit a Bilstein dampers or if I could get some help to fit the old one back on otherwise I will have to leave the car outside until I find a solution. Hi Nic Thank you for the breakdown of what you have The filter PX600 at DT is about £55 and I was interested in the 120mm rather then 90mm. Why do you think I need a different base plate? Hello I have a problem in connecting my laptop to my home network. The indication from the little icon, is "limited or no connectivity". The router show there is something connected on its output 3 and I have run the network wizard with no success The cable I am using is a good one as we have tested it on an other computer.
