  4. Hi My engine has been very recalcitrant at being mapped, passed 6100rpm the power drops by about 10hp where is still should rising to about 160-165bhp After talks with a few owners of EU3 engine (cheers PP and Dave P) it seems that the vvc is no working. I have taken some picture of the VVC coil plugs and I would like to compare them to somebody else's. On my car I have away from the VVC hydraulic unit (silver part on engine) the blue plug with wires brown/white and brown/black then close to hydraulic unit the black plug with wire brown/white and black/yellow. Could someone check on their engine what it should be? Thanks for your help Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

  16. Hello MacP Welcome to the 21 owners club. 1) I am also looking into a new battery, and I don't want to modify the bettery tray I am looking for an alternative, will let you know the final result of my search later on. I work in Uxbrdige so not far from you. 2) To avoid air lock I run the engine a few minutes with the header cap tank off, it seems to do the trick on mine, and never had an air lock in the systems. 3) Bonnet catches, I have the part number somewhere if you cannot find it ion the list.
