  5. It has been discovered there is some oil and debris residue in my old radiator. I am worried about the oil residue which would be the sign of a failing head gasket.   6. Hello I have been looking at Darren's very explicit web site here about fitting a PRRT. I can see three possibility on where to connect the return pipe from the heater: 1) between the radiator and PRRT 2) Between the block and PRRT 3) in the by pass circuit Where is the correct place ?   12. The heater is an other device which dissipate heat, which could explain why you see the change in temperature. Also the temp gauge are not that accurate. Or you might have an air lock! Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

  15. Yes Miles, You are correct. This is the gasket i have this gasket I have place it on the water rail and as far as I understand the squared part of the hole is closer to the back of the engine. Is it what you mean Gingerbread Man? Cheers Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

  22. Hello! I have move the sender to inside the engine bay in my car. I bought the bits from the shop as per the list in the 7FAQ. I'll see if I can find the invoice.   23. In my industry making a join in the ground is something to avoid as you never know how good the resin or join will be. I was referring to this sentence. If it was a supply to my garage I would want the supply to be as safe as possible (part P certification spring to mind). Industrial and domestic supply are treated as two different type of supplies by the British Standard so different rules applies. RCD are now available in a easy wiring package, they are similar to a wall mounted socket. Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  24. I second this point of view, never make a join in the ground. It is a lot better to make the connection above ground in a junction box. Jack PS: Fit an RCD somewhere also Emily, The Very Yellow 21
  25. Washing machine! When I wash them I wrapped them up in a couple of socks and t shirts to make sure they don't damaged the washing machine. After you just need a little of WD40 or similar in the mechanisms it self Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
