    It's a 5 speed gear box. I found something interesting on CC website, clutch Stop - Quinton Hazel Clutch. and I think it's what I have bolted to the bell housing. Time to call redline Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

    Hi On the clutch cover on my 1.8 vvc engine there is this part number LC036D 008A I have searched on Caterham's website to check which plate is required to no avail. Does someone know what is the plate needed for that cover? Cheers Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

    Hi I have some vertical movement in the steering column but not left to right and i am not sure it's normal I took apart the steering column clamp, cleaned it and refitted it and i have still the same amount of play. the movement doesn't seems to be coming from the steering rack but from the upper part of the steering column How much vertical mouvement do you have in your 7 or 21?     I think I need to change from the purple pump to the gold pump to increase the clearance around the steering colum. Does someone knows what needs to be changed to chanfge to a gold pump or a fitting manual? Cheers Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

    Hi We took out the engine of my car last weekend and we noticed there was a couple of bolt missing form the gearbox side. I need to find out what they are, does someone has a exploded view of the exploded view of gearbox type 9 + bell housing + engine showing mainly the how they are attached to each other. the engine is a VVC with dry sump, the tank being inside the bell housing Thank you for your help Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21

    I'm having my engine 1.8VVC on roller barrel sprinkle with some of DVA's magic. I have been told I have a standard cast iron flywheel of a 1.6K engine whith some holes. I cannot make my mind up if I should have a lightweight flywheel fitted. Is it worth having on a road going car? Thnaks for your help Jack Emily, The Very Yellow 21
