I though I bought some already diluted from Halfords, however after a closer read ( I know I need glasses) it was undiluted. Can I presume it is ok to run a engine on more or less neat coolant?

Thanks you all for the words of wisdom. The engine has made it firts few rpm tonight. The engine idles fine but as soon as I started touching the accelerator it would stater an die. Any ideas where to start looking? Does anyone around Oxford nows they way round an Emerald and could give me a crash course in how to use it? Cheers Jack

Hi Ian It would be the inner and outer parts, basicaly the assembly. The OEM one I have is kind of making a sharp bend so I need a longer one to route it differently. Cheers Jack

Hi I think my cable clutch is abit short by a few 100mm. Before investigating, buying longer cable clutch, what are the consequence of having a longer cable cluth lenght? Cheers Jack

Good Morning I am thinking of having the engine harness and front loom looked at or redone. I am going to meet Arden Automotive team and Brian S is going to give me the number of a local auto electrician I would like to have a few quote from different company before going ahead. Could someone recommend an auto electrician or loom making company which could do the job local to Didcot or Abingdon? Thanks for your help jack

Hi I have a Magneti Marelli alternator which has 3 big spade terminal in a row. The loom I have has one big female spade connector, and one small female connector. This one I know where to connect it too. To which one do I need to connect the big female spade connector? Or are they the same?. Cheers Jack

Cheers batteredoldsupersport I've fitted an M8 and it seems ok. The tensioner is rather crude! I've set the tension to something similar to the dry sump belt so it should be ok. jack

Hello I will start my new engine soon 😬 and I just want to check a few things step 1, remove spark plug step 2, dropped a spoon full of oil in each cylinder step 3, crank engine until oil pressure step 4 fit spark plug step 5, start engine Any step I am missing ? Jack

Hi I called local motor factor and it seems they don't have this magical box you speak of batteredoldsupersport. In fact, it is the same connector used for the VVC mechanism, so if someone has converter their engine to non VVC mechanism I would be interested in hearing from you. Or maybe Oilyhand has a spare... Jack

which goes ping and new never find again Well it happened to me about 1/2hr ago and it has disappeared. It's the little clip which hold the flywheel sensor in. Does someone has a spare little clip I could have or would someone know where I could get one? Cheers Jack
