  1. The sump is only 6ish months old, it was bought for a single seater project but the oil unions didn't work well with the lower chassis tubes so they had to go with an external pump solution, they just miss-placed the chain and sprocket in the rush to do the swap.
  2. Hi All Picked up a cheap Raceline dry sump kit off ebay, complete apart from the pump drive chain and oil pump sprocket. I plan to build it up on a spare rebuilt short-block that I have. Are these just the standard Ford parts or specific to the kit? Happy to go to Raceline if they are bespoke, but will reuse the short-block parts if they will fit as they are new. Thanks Ian
  3. Innovate do an extender bung with cooling fins, but not cheap and will need machining to get the inlet port to face in the right direction in your exhaust bung.
  4. Have a look at this page: http://www.dubaipetrolheads.com/biggles/map.html It gives a decent work through for using the Emerald target AFR function. Find a good working map for your spec of engine and copy the target AFR table, work through the process. No need for external logging, but probably easier with a laptop hooked up.
  5. If you are going to diy the tune you really need a wideband O2 sensor. The Innovate MTX-L is an all in one solution or there is the simillar AEM 30-4110 Digital Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge. I think the Emerald can log the offset from target AFR, then you can adjust accordingly. You only really need it to get a working tune, then you can sell it on.
  6. I wouldn't overthink it, if they are balanced at idle leave well alone. The transient / acceleration fueling may need looking at if it still stumbles on throttle opening. Do you have a wideband and the ability to log it's output? Not sure if the Emerald allows logging, but if it does you could see if it is going lean or rich during acceleration?
  7. Drew a blank on mine. Will let you know if it turns up, but it wasn't where i thought it would be.
  8. May have, some additional bits came with a cage I bought. Will be the weekend before I can look?
  9. I have a copy of the Raceline installation document that John Vine sent me, If you message me an email I will forward it.
  10. Is this the same part? http://ajhorseboxes.co.uk/store/living/locks-and-catches/over-centre-toggle-fastener-chrome-plated Looks like it might need to sit flat with the body to go over-centre and latch, in which case you may need to remove foam to let it do that?
  11. An engine preheater/block warmer may help? You will be starting a warm engine so get away from all of that trying to keep it running till warm
  12. If it doesn't work a proper exhaust place could probably expand them a little for you.
  13. Spotted heading into town as we headed towards the lights. R300 plate I think?
  14. There are some on ebay at the moment. The seller thinks they are ford fit, but i thought that most of the steel wheels were ital fit, so may be worth checking with them?
