  1. I know I'm old Stephen, but they don't look BLACK to me
  2. For safety I prefer open wheel nuts, got a set from Dave at https://www.gemzoe.com/ I would have thought that Chris at http://www.redlinecomponents.co.uk/ Would also stock them.

  4. Reply # 4 Diameter is not that critical, but to go through protector, piping & wing you will need at least 12mm.
  5. Race stays with 185 60 13's, getting the wheels off is a bit tight but they look good.
  6. I got the same error when I tried to post a reply with a third party emoji from the iPad/phone keyboard not the Blatchat ones. Removed the offending emoji and it worked fine. Try it
  7. I must admit I thought the Odyssey batteries were gel, had one for 8 years and didn't know they were AGM. THIS is worth a read.
  8. Thinking back whilst it was quite an easy project and I was an enthusiastic owner in those days, it took me quite a bit of time to get them right and it's probably worth spending forty quid getting them off the shelf
  9. Reply to #8 I made mine about 18 years ago and memory is not so good at my age but here goes, I cut them out of what looks like 2.5 or 3.0mm mild steel sheet, A 90° bend and a small 90° return (I had access to a press in those days) to fit in the channel, For the slots I drilled a couple of holes close to each other and elongated them into the slots with (a lot) of filing. Tack welded 2 x M8 nuts then had them powder coated locally.
  10. Not pretty but it works, I also have the race cap underneath.
  11. I had the same problem with my X Flow, bought the gaskets that Redline sell and never had the problem again
  12. Too cheap IMO have a look on the Retro Ford and MKI/II ESCORT forums
  13. If you don't mind the ridiculous price I think the Rapfix unit is the most popular choice, have a read through THIS THREAD
  14. I change my trailer tyres every 3 years, very few of us have the same tyres on our tin tops for 5 years.
  15. Mind you it is made more confusing when this is at the bottom of the page in the above link . . . . . . . . .. . "PLEASE SIGN INTO YOUR CLUB MY LOVE ADMIN ACCOUNT AND GO TO EVENTS TO BOOK A PLACE AT THIS EVENT."
