AFAIK Goodwood, Anglesey, MSV, MSE all insist on full face in open top cars. Price = as much as you can afford but whatever you buy try it on first. Every ones head is different and there is nothing worse than driving with an ill fitting uncomfortable helmet on, even for 20 minutes.

Beagler, you have posted asking for advice & recommendations which several people, who have considerable experience in this field, have kindly offered. However the tone and attitude of your replies is somewhat disparaging and unnecessary IMO. We are a friendly club with a membership who collectively have considerable knowledge of all things Caterham & Lotus 7, members that are more than to willing to help. Perhaps a bit of courtesy wouldn’t go amiss, after all it costs nothing.

As Jonathan says, carbon particles are electrically conductive so if sucked into a Dremel they will burn it out, trust me I know

Drilling the 3 holes for a new Momo steering wheel

When I bought mine the supplier drilled it, countersunk it and supplied the black anodised bolts & nylons at n extra cost. -
I have the 1" & they are great but I'm only 5' 6" Fitted them 5 years ago & never had a problem with the Velcro but I cleaned the seats thoroughly with Isopropanol before applying.
