I always fit the spring/clip in th gaiter, no glue no cable ties never had a problem in 22 years. However . . . . . It's a bit of a "Heath Robinson" set up and you have to make sure it's fitted correctly with the groove seated properly all the way round the opening in the B/ H & the spring in its correct central position IYSWIM. Tip, always fit the pedal end of the cable LAST.

# 10 Andy they are both very good because they are ball bearing fitment rather than splines so no play and both are self centering which I find essential as I forget to center the steering when parking. I decided on the Go-Race as I'm a tight sod and very pleased with it, don't forget the 15% Club discount Guy

#12 Wrightpayne Agree on both counts, I fitted a new scuttle and the old bonnet just wouldn't re shape around it, catches too tight, looked dreadful. New bonnet was cheap as chips IMO and sorted the problem

I referenced the Haynes Sierra manual, bit basic but if you message me your email I could scan the relevant pages. Word of warning, it's not that easy as stated above. Best to use a puller to pull on and swage the new cans and you have to be very accurate when you swage. Just saying

Difficult to photograph but mine has got to have a good 10mm clearence.My tube it the uprated thicker tube unit.

I have Protech dampers and through the DD tube mounts so I will take a look and come back to you (out walking the dog at the moment).

I have never understood why people spend (big) money on 4 pot calipers and vented discs on a standard road car, waste of money in my opinion. I use my car mainly for track days not much road work, have 208bhp and the standard 2 pot brakes are more than adequate, many race series still use them.
