  12. For those of you who mailed me about the dent, here is an image. The pic is not very good i'm afraid as the cage is now off the car and hanging from the garage ceiling as I was holding onto it for a buyer but they have let me down and I need the space. The dent is really quite small (10mm long) but if anyone is interested I will take the cage down and try to get a better picture. Guy

  14. Powervamp PVR 25 for me, looks about the same size (and capacity) as Chris's, had it for 6 years never charge it, great battery. Guy
  15. Recently powder coated (black) S3 imperial De Dion chassis single diagonal type roll cage. It has had the dash plates removed so may not be race legal but a much neater installation for road use, the powder coating is good but it has one small dent on the driver’s side rear hoop which can just be seen in image 1 where the cross bar meets the hoop. Comes complete with the shallow rear bolts, an assortment of head restraint ‘bits/brackets’, a L7C sticker and padding. £200 cash please, will need collecting or I may be able to deliver/meet up within a reasonable distance of GU15 or West London. ETA this cage can be used with a windscreen fitted.
  16. Is it the Australian spec suite? 😬 I'll get my own coat.

  21. keybaud Yes an injection tank does have a fuel return but it also has the facility to fit a HP pump inside the tank. Rather than change the tank some people (me) use an external LP pump to feed a swirl pot, which in turn feeds an external HP pump which feeds the injectors. The return from the fuel rail then goes back to the swirl pot via the pressure regulator. Surplus fuel is returned to the tank via an atmospheric vent from the top of the SP. To do this I simply fitted a banjo in the back plate of the gauge sender unit. Not sure it was any cheaper/easier than changing the tank but it was what many L7C members who had converted to injection recommend. Guy. Edited by - Guy Lowe on 26 May 2014 03:14:51
  22. Quoting keybaud: The OP doesn't have an injection tank, so he doesn't have a return and people keep, telling him to use a swirl pot instead. that's the whole idea of a swirl pot, it does away with the need for an injection tank
