  1. Yep that was the NTTTWG going over for our annual track day at Folembray circuit, Roger we stayed in St Quentein for two nights, a really great weekend
  2. I remove the nipple and use a small syringe with a short piece of screen wash tube on the end to get the oil in.
  3. They would look okay on a Focus ST
  4. Yes it's like your running out of petrol, spluttering etc. If the pressure is set too low it will happen after a period at high reves when the engine is using most fuel and the carburettor float chambers empty because demand outstrips supply.
  5. I used the same Sytec regulator when my car was fitted with a standard 2.0L Zetec on 40's and had it set to 3psi without any problems or starvation, even on track.
  6. I know you've got an SV Paul but you only need to book one place
  7. I didn't want mine in the boot either so I put it where the heater used to be, cannot see it as a problem but as I have never used it I wouldn't know
  8. I will take the 16V nose cone badge please, BM sent

    removed

    Is this a contract service, if so i have a list of people I'd like 'removed'... Right I better be off then . . . . . . . . . . .
  10. QUOTE AEROSCREENS: Having converted from x/flow to a Zetec on Jenveys I can assure you you'll not have much left in the piggy bank. The incidentals trends to add up to a lot more than you think. Full details can be seen here http://c7cat.com/Zetec_conversion.htm What he said, the Zetec engine is the cheap bit, the "incidentals" run into many thousands! I think that the X Flow price is about right.
  11. Is the BDR long shaft? If so how much (I don't have any seats).
  12. Same car again last Wednesday at 07.00 with the hood up (it was raining) 13 plate NB on The Frimley Road going past my house.

    Tyre Options

7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD and a puncture repair if possible It is not advisable to repair punctures on a performance car which generates a lot of heat in the tyres. The integrity of "mushroom" plug type repairs is compromised when they are subjected to high temperatures and can result in a rapid deflation failure.
  14. Ali with orange nose & wings last Friday (20/02) lunch time SB on Frimley High Street , but I have also seen you twice before going past FPH and on the A325 last week.
  15. 12 years of ownership, 30,000 miles, lots of track days, 1 full bare chassis rebuild, 2 new diffs, 1 new DD tube & 2 sets of new shocks fitted & always tightened to 40lbs without any problems - so 40lbs it will always be for me
  16. Quoting Arnie Webb on Facebook 3/8 unf bolts 20-25lb/ft, 1/2 unf 45-50lb/ft (this latter value may have been uprated to 60 I think, in more recent years) That could explain Paul's figures, my oppologies Paul
  17. According to my build manual the only bolts torqued to 60 lbs ft. on the rear suspension are the A frame bolts, the rest are either 25 or 35 (exc. Watts Link). Even the diff mounting bolts which are 1/2" should only be 40 lbs ft. Confused of Camberley
  18. I have just done mine with Isoflex which is £14.50 in B&Q for a 750ml tin which is more than enough to give them 2 coats.
  19. Agree with Shaun, I run a standard Radtec with a 200bhp+ Zetec and it's always been fine, in fact I have to cover a quarter of for 6 months of the year to prevent over cooling.
  20. You may well be right Nigel. If there are any 'non members' out there that know the answer, please email me on ????????????(at)gmail(dot)com Thanks
