  1. Pair of Grooved/Drilled discs for standard caliper, front Triumph type 12/14 2 pot or rear DD Sierra. Less than 500 miles so no lips or rust. £40 plus shipping. Will ship UK only (too heavy)
  2. That is a very important point, I bought a LifeLine boss to go on my existing column and it was very slightly bigger which I didn’t notice when the wheel was bolted on 😟
  3. I would advise against Goodwood & Brands as a first track day, great circuits but as already said, unforgiving. How about an airfield day to start off with? MSE are very good and don’t put up with the Saxo Dazza types plus Abingdon is not too far.
  4. Be careful, I made reference to the T&C’s of the Company in question on here some five years ago and received written warning from the MT for my trouble. 👿
  5. The post in question was just using BlatChat to advertise/promote the members eBay listings, he did not state a price and did not respond to members questions. Therefore to purchase the items you had to use eBay, so in my opinion not a genuine “For Sale” and the links should not be allowed.
  6. Yes, that’s the one pictured you just remove the screw on cap.
  7. Like this Jonathan? The are loads listed on fleabay.
  8. No it is forward of the tunnel so accessible from the engine bay, but this may differ depending on the engine fitted. Will try to take a picture later.
  9. I cut dow a 10mm allen key & tack welded it in but as I got older I realised it was still too much like hard work so I fitted a top filler/dip stick access plug.
  10. Only my opinion, but I don’t think links to eBay should be allowed on here.
  11. Only my opinion, but I don’t think links to eBay should be allowed on here.
  12. Some people think LED lights look good, each to their own. 😉
  13. I have a spare at home Lewis if you want to borrow to measure, I will be home about 17:30. Guy
  14. A few of us in ReHaB have used Burghfield Alternators & Starters near Reading. Very good
  15. Just bin them, they are not needed.
  16. As above, will work Monday RTFM 🤪
  17. Never use them and not had a problem in 22 years, I don’t think many race cars use them either.
  18. For 22 years I have always made my own throttle cables from bike shop purchased cables, & nipples, clutch cables from REDLINE every time 👍

    Cadwell 21 May

I would also be interested in this, if I get my head back & rebuilt in time 🤑
  20. I have a 30 year old S3 with the original AP master cylinder (new seals 10 years ago) and my pedal is great, only 1/2” travel, solid as a rock and perfect for heeling & toeing. People who have driven my car often comment on how good the brakes are for standard set up.
  21. Probably not, it’s quite common to use soap to assist with fitting rubber components that are a tight fit as it doesn’t affect the rubber where as lubricants like oil and grease will. However you only need a smear imo. ETA: You could always use red rubber grease but that’s messy and hangs about attracting dirt and carp.
  22. Hi Nigel, It’s really easy to bend, I just rolled it round a large bottle on my bench and you can cut it with a good pair of scissors or tin snips.
