  1. Yes LED I have tested it with a 470 resistor but it seems a bit dim (the light not me )
  2. I want to use a Lifeline fog light as a brake light but it's too bright, I have witnessed this following people with them on track days, it's really distracting but I read somewhere that a resistor should be fitted, does anyone know which resistor should be used?
  3. Roger - Thank you Caesar (David) - Sorry I'm going to hang on to them in case I cannot get replacements and have to re use them.
  4. I removed the anti-squeal shims a long time ago, I just stick some Gaffer Tape to the back of the pad. Some people use this type of pad https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ANTI-SQUEAL-SELF-ADHESIVE-BRAKE-PAD-SHIMS-NOISE-REDUCTION-X-4-100x40MM/183522126173
  5. Yes but they are only any good for a car with a cage
  6. I have just fitted Big Heads my new wings this morning, I cable tie the BH's to the stay, mark the position of the wing and with a small amount of Tiger Seal set the wing in place. Once the sealant has gone off I cut the cable ties and remove the stay. Then on the bench I finish off the bonding with more Tiger Seal. One word of advice, make sure the sealant is at room temperature before applying, don't leave it in the garage overnight
  7. Received this morning, very pleased thank you Stephen
  8. 11. Yes. . . . . . . . . but I ordered Jet Black
  12. The confirmation of order email is far from satisfactory and when you go online to review your order, there is no information there either.
  13. Order now placed, thank your for organising this Stephen and thanks for sorting out my up with the order.
  14. Whatever you use make sure it is insurance approved, which in most case means it must save files in a format that cannot be edited. AFAIK MP4/AVI type files are no longer accepted as evidence in court.
  15. Tidying up my car ready to sell and need to replace the carbon sill protectors. Does anyone have an old pair of stainless ones for a standard chassis S3 DD car lying about?
  16. Excellent (old) thread A lot of good unbiased advice, very informative and it's saved me about £500 which I will use to get my car set up properly
  17. Good morning Shaun, I have just measured my bellows and it's 22mm on the shaft end so I guess that's correct as I have fitted one without any problems. The peening is just a matter of lots of tapping round and round with a small hammer, two things to be careful off. 1. Keep the joint fully compressed ALL OF TIME whilst peening, this is difficult, I held it in a large vice. 2. Protect the shaft from wayward hammer blows which will cause damage, I held a small piece of 3/5mm steel against the shaft as protection. I hope this all makes sense, i am not known for my grammar Guy
  18. This is the kit I have Shaun /sites/default/files/images/users/3816/Boot.jpeg
