  1. Like most modern tin top gauges, I have had 6 VW Transporter’s all of which the water temperature gauges start in the “blue” slowly creep up to the middle (normal) position and stay there, even when stuck on the M25 in 30C with both radiator fans going. It’s definitely the “comfort factor”, manufacturers don’t want you to worry 😉
  2. A great day, the most amazing thing was the immaculate parking organisation, a work of art 😀
  3. A re powder, new skin, respray etc. etc. will be quite a bit more, I know 😉
  4. A lap of Donington is nearly 2 miles so 32 cars isn’t a problem, it’s a really great circuit, have a great day.
  5. I got mine from Redline who normally keep them in stock and at competitive prices.
  6. No idea what it does to the handling but aesthetically a vast improvement IMO. 205’s on 7” semi dished rims.
  7. I am in Corfu this week so can’t check. From memory the “flat” is at 12 o clock the normal position on the RaceTech wheel between the two bolts. Here is an old image
  8. I have one but would like to sell it complete, how about £95 inc. UK postcode delivery? HERE
  9. I took all mine off & binned them, useless imo.
  10. That is incorrect & a dangerous assumption, I have another LifeLine boss and it is, very slightly larger than the Caterham LifeLine top column
  11. Strange thing is, mine has a drain plug. Retro fitted ?
  12. You should NOT use WD40 on the QR boss as it goes sticky, also never use it in locks as a “ friend” found out 🤫 . As above GT85 is best From the technical stuff: “WD 40 is a product that helps stop water from entering the area or to help remove water and lube an area. It also helps with many other things like loosening rusty bolts. However, it is NOT a long term lubricant or one that should be used for complex machinery”
  13. Lifeline with top column
  14. As per title, about 5 years old so some play (TADTS) Fits all 3 bolt 50mm PCD wheels. £110 including postage to any UK post code.
  15. Bought a pair 20 years ago, tweaked the bottom edge, sold them a week later . . . . . Useless! The only options are to keep using the doors or, as I did fit an aero screen. Haven’t used a full screen for over 10 years. 👍
  16. Brand new 48mm B-G steering column extension, 3 bolt 50mm PCD anodised black complete with 3 x M5 self coloured counter sunk bolts and nylocs. Fits all 3 bolt 50mm PCD wheels & bosses. £25 including postage to UK post codes.
