  1. Matthew, I've read this post and to me 100mm is too much. Now my nose band is 7cm wide it it seems fine in the picture. Maybe 5,5cm would have been even better.

AFAIK race CSR 260 are running 7x13 front and 9x13 rear.
  3. As it is my thread I can answer 😬 These half doors are coming from MOG racing here

  5. Mark, Your cars look very nice but not sure your nose band is 112mm wide (your stripe may be 112mm) ??
  6. My "new" Caterham (R300) has just been painted, and I asked for a nose band. I just get the pictures of the paint shop and obviously the band is really too wide : 11,5cm After a search on the BC I found one post telling 7cm is OK. Can someone confirm to me that 7cm is OK. What I'm after can be see on this picture here
  7. I recently bought an ex-race R300 that need some painting job. We ordered some new parts (4 wings, 1 nose, 1 scuttle, 1 bonnet...) Obviously CC has difficulties delivering the bonnet these days. We ordered the items 5 weeks ago and the bonnet is still not here and CC cannot commit to a delivery date...
  8. Roon, is your Engine EU2 or EU3. If it's EU3 there is an SS Ecu in the "For sale" section, then buy some new Cams (633) from Oily and your deal is done 😬
  9. One of my friend has a serious engine issues with his new Caterham (SV 1.8 X Power) and obvioulsy the Caterham dealer (located in Germany) who sold the car is not fair at all. Does anybody know to who at CC he should send the letter to ask for some help ?
  10. Dampers are the same for normal track and wide track. To use the dampers on a wide track, you need an extension piece (1 inch) that goes on top of the damper. (Rob was quicker ) Edited by - Catastrada on 16 Aug 2006 11:15:02

    Half doors

Don't you have any picture of them please?
  12. @ steve : The day I received my 7 I removed the full screen and I replace it with one race aeroscreen (in perspex). @ RIF : I did not want the eyebrow to be in touch with the aero a all, even with a rubber. This way I find it very clean.
  13. After multiple tries with washers I was not happy with, I decided to cut the eyebrow. here
  14. I may have 1 set of adjustable runners for sale (are OK for either S type seats or Caterham Race seats). Send me a blat mail if interested.
  15. Not easy for me to explain in English but I need your help. My car : 2004 narrow body, 1.6 K engine. During track days (tyres=048, quite a lot of grip), when my fuel tank has less than the half (else no problem), in right turning curves taken in 2nd and 3rd gear, the engine does not receive fuel during a very short period of time and then, when the car is slow (I assume less G force), the fuel comes back to the engine. So the problem should be around the fuel pump, but what do I need to check?
  16. Exactely what I was told by Tilett this morning too.
  17. Blat chatters are too strong! I thank you all for your quick and valuable answers
  18. I just bought a Caterham race seat (composite) on Ebay and when I received it I discovered that the 2 (trim) pieces that protect the holes where the top harnesses are coming, are missing. I just sent an email to Tillet (as they manufacture the Caterham race seats) and hope they will reply. Does anybody already tried to buy these 2 pieces and where did you find them ?
  19. The guy who sell it just bought it on ebay a few days ago. The previous ad is here He even uses the same picture as the previous seller. FYI he bought it £68 + P&P. Edited by - Catastrada on 18 Jul 2006 18:14:43
