  1. I'm after a standard rev counter, EU3 (1800 K), in very good condition.
  2. I'm interested in your tillets too, if Phil don't take them. (If someone else is selling a pair of tillets, just send me a PM).
  3. Thank you Paul I talked to Perf. braking and they suggested me exactely what you said.
  4. OK Mav, To be more precise, the reference I'm after is the one I need to order pads. Do you know if the one I mentioned is for the pads that fit the "lattest" upratde calipers?
  5. Thank you John for your info. I found a reference for the calipers : CP2340D43 but I'm not sure if this is the reference for the "old" AP caliper or the lattest ones
  6. I need to order front brake pads (Pagis RS14). My car (2003) has the AP racing uprated brakes. The calipers are black with CATERHAM written on them. Could somone tell me the referece of the calipers I will use to order the pads (mayve even the reference of the pads)?

    Decat pipe

My R300 is engined with a K1800 VVC Xpower (standard VVC EU3 ECU). I have the standard R300 exhaust with a cat ( here). Is there a real advantage fitting a decat pipe ? And will it increase the noise ? Edited by - Catastrada on 8 Mar 2007 08:12:50
  8. Platinium Silver comes from Mercedes : Mercedes Brillant Silver code 744L My R300 is Platinium Silver here Titanium Silver comes from Ferrari : Griggio titanium. But you will see several (2 or 3) different Grigio titaniulm of you ask Ferrari. My 1600K was Titanium Silver here
  9. Maybe should you first considere how you use your car (and your brakes). With standard calipers and good pads (IE Mintex 1144), even with tyres that have high grip (ie Yoko 048), you can block the front wheels at high speed. So, if you upgrade, according to me your goal shouldn't be "to brake harder". Having 4 pot calipers (and vented disk if you choose the CC kit) will help to dissipate the heat much better. In other words, if you do some track days and feel that after 15 or 20 rounds your feel that the pedal goes deeper, then you should consider upgrading. So, according to me, the question could be "do I need to brake longer". If you need to brake stronger => upgrade your pads (and maybe your tyres) If you need to have strong brake, longer => ugrade to 4 pod calipers. My €0,2 (sorry for my English. Good news is that you did not hear my accent 😬) Edited by - Catastrada on 10 Feb 2007 09:00:58
  10. CSR260 race cars : 13" Wheels, 7" front and 9" rear Edited by - Catastrada on 2 Feb 2007 17:22:16
  11. Are you sure "race CSR 260" do have 15" (but Howard is right, offset is different)
  12. Race CSR 260 do have 7" front and 9" rear, dont' they?
  13. Hi Bruno, Rob already came back to me and I try to reach my friend to know if they are still for sale and how much. FYI, he does not have 4 wheels but 5, and the 5th is new (wheels and tyre). I don't know if you saw my post on FAR, but I did succeed in registering my R300 in France!
  14. A friend of mine will sell very shortly his 15" 10 spokes anthracite wheels. They are as new, and fitted with avon CR500 tyres. His car has less than 2,500 miles, so have the tyres. I don't think they are sold but need to check with him. We are located in France but should be able to deliver. Feel free to contact me if interested.
  15. "older "FIA Bar (Arch manufactured) had 1 signle bar. As a consequence there were 1 model for LHD cars and an other one for RHD cars. "latest" FIA Bar (Caged manufactured) with the x gives the ability to CC to only have 1 model to manage as it's OK for both LHD and RHD cars.

    Wheels

Roy if you are talking about the CC anthracite wheels, it's either 13" and 8 spokes or 15" and 10 spokes (and not 15" and 8 spokes).
  17. Peter, With this picture here can you say for sure what exhaust it is ?
  18. Is the big bore 4-1 really the standard on an R300?
  19. I just bought a second hand R300 with the 160bhp 1800 Xpower engine. The car has the "R500 exhaust" that contains a catalytic convertor, a titanium casing, and a 4-1 collector with larger bore piperwork. Does anybody knows how many more bhp are produced thanks to this exhaust (if any)? Does anybody have a dyno of this configuration (engine + exhaust)?
  20. Thanks Andrew Edited by - Catastrada on 17 Nov 2006 07:49:18
