  1. Glad I was proved wrong 👍
  2. I think Miker7 has the most likely answer as from what I've seen over the years most factory fitted carbon dashes don't have the knee trim panels. In my experience ('93 car) they were not a problem to remove once the rivets had been drilled out (I subsequently re-fitted with self-tappers). I don't think that knee trim panel is coming out especially if the carbon dash has been glued to it 🙁. Hope I'm proved wrong.....
  3. Dirtbuddha, Nigel has agreed £50 and is trying to arrange collection one way or another. If it subsequently doesn't happen you're next in line.
  4. Nigel, if you’re still looking I believe this is a x/flow bonnet. I’m in East Sussex.
  5. My Zetec 7 has the 60mm Radtec and the been running Comma G30 for 13 years and not sprung a leak (yet...). Coolant is changed regularly. For the oil cooler mounts I just had somebody weld in a suitable extension to achieve a suitable clearance.
  6. I have a spare bonnet which I believe is from a cross flow but won’t be able to check until the weekend….
  7. I have a scissor lift with 4 arms; front 2 are under the rear lower wishbone mount and the rears as mentioned above. It very often stays on the lift over the winter whisltI gradually service it and all seems ok.
  8. Andy, I think we're talking about the BMMC finals 🙂.
  9. Well, I know of one 7 with PAS and ABS!!! I believe we're comfortably talking 4 figures though...
  10. I didn’t hear back for over a week and Julie normally responds the same day. So I sent a text and she explained she was having problems with her email. Might be worth doing the same, her number is on the form.
  11. wasn't directed at you 🙂
  12. Out of interest how often do you check your brake lights on your tin-top(s)?
  13. I'm sure my MOMO boss was 6mm so I drilled the steering wheel accordingly as I didn't fancy using 5mm bolts in a 6mm hole that's why I tapped the QR boss. The steering wheel had already been drilled for countersunks
  14. I think on my Rapfix I simply used a M6 tap on the quick release

  16. See my posts on this thread, there is a link to the race team I purchased mine from https://www.caterhamlotus7.club/forums/topic/272475-which-dzus-tool/#comment-271963
  17. You don’t need a heater just appropriate clothing 😀 Top of Stelvio Pass in September 2015
  18. For those that don't have a heater I fitted a combined toolbox/jack on the engine bay shelf. This was fixed via 4 rivnuts into the shelf and further secured by 2 long bolts with penny washers through the bulkhead and rear of toolbox.
  19. Mike, was that the record running second on warm tyres and no cat? 😉
  20. I think your order is correct and yes my top hat sits on top of the boot cover. This enables the harness to swivel, the crinkle washer simply stops it rattling and the boot cover will sit flush with the chassis rail. I can’t see how it would work if you put the top hat under the boot cover…..
  21. According a Demon Tweeks blog on understanding helmet standards a Snell SA2015 expired 31.12 23 but a dual standard FIA 8859-2015 & Snell SA2015 has no expiry date which suggests that an FIA standard is greater than the SA2015 as advised to me by MUK.
