  1. OK Neil, likewise no rush just trying to clear the garage. If you do go tomorrow please give me a shout.
  2. Thanks Neil it's yours. Are you at the meet tomorrow? If not I can drop it off when I'm passing sometime if you like.
  3. Green 18mm front ARB for widetrack. No bushes but with new balls. £15 Collect from Horsham or Surrey Meet next week
  4. One 6J x 14" silver Minator deDion fitting shod with A021. Wheel in good condition just a couple of very small scuffs. Prevously used as spare. Tyre has 3-4mm of tread left. £40 - collect from Horsham or Surrey Meet next week.
  5. If it's black gungy goo then it's grease out of a CV joint which has split. If you are getting a knocking noise from the rear DO check before you go out that one end of the anti roll bar has not sheared. This and the drop link can flap around before being propelled by the wheel through the fuel tank.
  6. Recently fitted a different ARB with new balls to my '97 car. The balls refused to go in despite the cups obviously being well worn in. Unless there are different sizes I am unaware of it would appear that the balls themselves need some fettling as well. I used the old ones in the end.
  7. They're tight. I spent some time at show a few years ago trying to get comfortable in one of these. I'm about the same height. I thought at the time removing the seat and making a foam/ moulded version could be the solution to get some legroom. Would be interested in an answer myself. They just look stunning don't they.
  8. Just found a couple of photos of top plate and seal - YHM
  9. There is a groove machined in the top of the box which has a like a large 'o' ring seal set in it. Beware that the top is not just a flat plate, it has a protrusion which extends down into the box and must be lifted vertically initially to remove it.
  10. The caphead bolt through wishbone/damper bush ('97 deDion widetrack). Are there subtle differences in these? Replacement bolts from CC look the same but are tighter and won't screw in fully. The unthreaded part looks just a tad thicker maybe?
  11. What's the consensus on the strongest/most durable ones? Tried a few makes over the years and usually end up poking a digit through after just a short while, sometimes even just pulling the things on.
  12. For the nut at the rear of the front upright that holds the steering arm and wing stay on. Found all the other front suspension figures online but not this one - not sure what it's called Thanks a lot
  13. Or...as recommended by others on here - a simultaneous blow from two hammers in opposite directions to the outside of joint (the upright). When you get it right the joint just pops out.
  14. Thanks John but in that case I think I'll give give these a miss. Cheers Martin
