  1. Thanks Mankee, much appreciated.
  2. I think I need to change my fuel filter, as after running the tank quite low(naughty boy), I'm getting bad hesitation on acceleration and a rough idle. Being a mechnically idiot, is there anywhere I can go to for a step by step guide, and location? Cheers, Bradders.
  3. Gents, I'm looking for a pair of progressive rear road springs 150 lb if anyone has some lying around in the garage please. Alternative I'd be happy if someone has a complete set preferably with adjustable platforms but not essential. Need to be road ones though as I bought a set before as complete units and they were race springs on road dampers, and they are too firm. Thanks all, Bradders.
  4. If you haven't fixed this already, check the lambda sensor. Sounds like the same problem I had a while back. Disconnect it and then see if it idles smoothly. If it does, that's your problem.

I wouldn't mind an answer to this as well. I've tried a stick-on one from Halfords, but it didn't seem to want to stick-on very long and over 30 the vibration made it useless. Got a sucker type; much more stable and smaller. Sucky thing broke, now it doesn't suck(or maybe it does) Is there one that can be mounted to the frame in black. Only ones I've seen are chrome, and I'm a black pack chap. Edited by - Bradders on 10 Jul 2014 16:16:45
  7. Great looking car. Seem to remember this was in Low FLying GJT? 😬
  8. Good bike the Fazer 600. Fantastic filtering machine for the commute. I loved every minute on mine. Except the 30 seconds after I dropped the clutch too quick and the tank came up and hit me on the head

    flapping harness!

Drive faster, that'll cure it. It's not widely known, but at a certain speed turbulence actually disappears. I tell SWMBO that I'm trying to hit that exact speed all the time, but never quite get there. Still trying though 😬 People will tell you otherwise; they are in denial.
  10. Quoting BenF: Out of interest, where is the best place to buy CR500s from, and by that I mean the best place that will actually have stock! I think Bradders means BMTR in Birmingham which is where I normally get mine from. They usually have stock of 13" at least, as that's what they supply to graduates etc. I think you can only get them from there, CC or Avon directly and also there is no 'cheap' option, I believe they are the same price everywhere, although maybe someone can prove me wrong! That's right BMTR. I'm full of man flu; that's my excuse. Price was a little cheaper than CC but only marginal.
  11. If I were you I'd get a garage to do it. They have a special lamba wrench and a tool for cleaning the thread afterward to get the new sensor in. After severely strained forearms, its not something ill be doing again in a hurry.
  12. I got good service and fast delivery from BMS in Birmingham for CR500s.
  13. Anyone got any spare wheel centres for Caterham Anthracite 8 spokes? Any racers who don't use 'em?
