  1. I'd be interested in taking it off your hands should Alan no longer need one any more.
  2. It's a "safety upgrade" usually sorts that.
  3. Have you tried Caterham Parts? https://caterhamparts.co.uk/other/7981-wheel-centre-cap-apollo-orcus-classic-csr.html
  4. OK I'll probably do this then, my current wrench goes to 120Nm and is 40cm long, I've got an 90cm breaker bar so in theory I just need to apply the same amount of pressure at the end of that and it is happy days.
  5. Epic. Being a physics programmer this made me smile 🙂
  6. Hi, As per the title, I just need to use either the torque adaptor or torque wrench to tighten up the rear hub nut to 270Nm, Ideally I don't want to buy a part to use just once in the build! Would consider buying the adaptor second hand if someone wants rid. Thanks Ste
  7. Do you have a photo so people can easily compare against the longer version I have?
  8. In short the boss is m5 as standard now and CC have not updated the bolts they send so in the end I've just gone for M5 countersunk bolts.
  9. That's not a bad idea tap out a thread on it.
  10. I'm just about to drill the steering wheel for the quick release, but on testing the bolts my m6x16 (Caterham supplied) bolts don't pass through the boss at all. Has the size changed, should we be using m5 now? Anyone else had this experience? Thanks
  11. Urm, the thread sticking out is 29mm. When it is on, I'd say about 20mm (possibly more) of thread is engaged on the nut if that helps.
  12. And here is the answer, all good! (they also make the black apollos look better too)
  13. Looking at the information above, are these https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/wheels-and-tyres/nuts-bolts/19mm-hex-open-ended-black-wheel-nuts/ still the nuts to go for for Anthracite KN 8 Spokes, and are they long enough to conceal the thread?
