    Javelin Trackdays

Althought not in a Caterham, i've used Javelin for several trackdays. They've always been great on the whole, but regardless, you'll always get some **** in an M3 with no driving talent trying to push you out of the way. As long as you're wise to it and give them space, it'll be fine.
  3. Thanks JK. I had done a site search, but your link returned more appropriate threads. Seems like it should be a Go-er.
  4. So then folks, a little thread revival. I finally made it to the Nürburgring this week for a trackday with Circuitdays, and what a day it was. Great weather and great laps. Here's a video of probably my best lap on a completely deserted track. It's clear there's plenty of time to be made up if I really wanted to / had the time, but i'm pleased with the effort.
  5. Hi folks, Hopefully a simple question - having not built my (or any) Caterham, do I need any special tools or know-how to replace the front wheel bearing? y NSF has failed and I have a replacement being posted to me, but I need to check if there's anything other than some basic tools required to get it fixed myself. As an example, is a press needed to remove or fit the bearing? Many thanks in advance!
  6. I'm interested. I'll still be in Munich next summer, so will likely see the chosen route & dates and see where I can join in for a day or two!
  7. Yup, also using 3m dual lock for the front plate.
  8. Stunning car, best of luck with the sale
  9. I gave up on mine and have replaced it with a cage mounted wind angle mirror.
  10. Good morning Nürburgring enthusiasts. In case you missed it, I broke my car at Salzburg and thus missed the Nürburgring trackday I had booked at the end of June. I was able to retain a "store credit" with Circuit Days which I plan to spend on another Ring trackday in summer 2024. So, the main question of this thread again: Who wants a club trackday at the Nürburgring in summer 2024?
  11. The old minis look so incredibly small these days. I do wonder if they were considered that small back in the 70s, 80s, 90s?
  12. Great to see you two had a good time. MPH, i'm looking forward to the videos! Shame about the weather, i'm hoping I have a little more luck next week at Salzburg.
  13. This drove past me yesterday, a Wiesmann Roadster I believe. Sounded ace. Edit: just looked up the price of these, holy s**t they're pricey!
  14. It's (imaginatively) called the Salzburgring and i'm there with GP Days, limited to 60 cars.
