  1. Visual inspection will not always detect a blown fuse, and apparently a continuity test is not always reliable either. If you have got any spares you could try replacing them all. If it is a blown fuse you have of course got the question of why has it blown
  2. Which I think is the same as the Mini except for the length of the track rods. Graham's rack is definitely Triumph though
  3. It will still click at the same torque, just need half the effort to make it click
  4. Redline sell one, not cheap though Seven Owners Manual S2/3/4 – Original Cc Issue – Redline Components
  5. Are you trying to move them one at a time? It will be better to try both together, either squeezing the spanners together or pulling them apart (depending on how you can position the spanners). As Ian says, mind your knuckles
  6. They are are both threaded the same way as they are on the same thread. Looking down the top one needs to go anticlockwise and the bottom one clockwise
  7. 6.8 litres (12 pints) according to the original Seven Owners Manual
  8. Beat me to it Buy Mikalor Stainless Hose Clamp | Demon Tweeks (demon-tweeks.com)
  9. If it is the Triumph rack then they have stops added to reduce the lock from what the Herald had
  10. The rack on my 1985 is from a Mini I think but that doesn't look like Mini. Probably Triumph Herald (or similar) because of the locating flanges. Missing the gaiter (presumably removed to inspect) Steering Rack - RHD - Reconditioned - 305932R | Rimmer Bros
  11. Assuming everything else is OK (thermostat sticking, air locks etc.) then surely more likely to be the sender (is it an electrical gauge?). The instrument itself is essentially just a volt meter I think. If it is a mechanical gauge I am not sure what could cause that behaviour, other than actual temperature fluctuations
  12. If Titan have used the correct size they should not need stretching, the oval groove should be the same length as the circumference of the o-ring
  13. This is from Keith Calver, renown Mini engine builder. The general principles will still apply Running in.pdf
  14. They will not start out oval, they will be round and just fitted into the oval groove
