  1. Mat, my car started as a 2004 SV 140bhp k series 9 years ago changed to k maps to “add a little bit” no mot issues then 4-2-1 exhaust “to add a bit more” no mot issues full vvc engine rebuild last year and now 217bhp ( have a look at my blog) no mot issues
  2. If you need to know how much things cost in the current market (last year) have a look at my blog It make the upgrade route illogical, better to sell and upgrade the car but, when did logic ever get in the way of emotional attachment to a car 😀
  3. I had my exhaust coated Matt black by Zircotec in Abingdon in 2018 no stone chips No idea if it improves performance, but i squeezed 216bhp out of a 1.8k series at Emerald.
  4. Phil, could I have these please unless someone has already emailed you before me
  5. Also, the 52mm is an upgrade noted on the DVA website with greater airflow capability ( when future upgrades come along)
  6. Miker7, let me measure the two, I think the only difference is the vvc cast into the top of the vvc one
  7. It fitted my non vvc engine, perhaps someone else could advise here.
  8. Plastic manifolds have been known to fracture with age.
  9. Taken from my 1.8 2004 X power 140bhp engine as I have now changed to emerald the immobiliser was switched off and it was set with “pops and bangs” Seemed to make a difference to the feel of the car and was great on the over run £200
  10. 52mm throttle body with bare manifold £50
  11. I’m having a bit of a clear out, is this of any use to anyone upgrading from the plastic manifold. £30
  12. Colin, in fact I’ll take the lot of that’s ok 👍
  13. Colin, can I take the carbon fog and reversing lights please Unless someone has emailed you first of course
  14. Another vote for vibration free, they balanced my K series crank, TTV 3.2kg flywheel and clutch last year when Rob at Ratrace built my engine.
