Nice car Ian and reasonably priced I'd say for that model. I wish I was in the market for one.
  2. Hi Ian, Thanks for your reply. I'm wondering how this would attach to my tail pipe. Would it need cutting so it would be permanently attached or could I just fit it if a failed a track noise test Apologies for slow response. Roger.
  3. I would also like a black one if any left.
  4. I'm looking for a bolt on to the tailpipe device for my noisy 1.6 K series for trackdays. Such as the decible slayer sold by Deamon Tweaks. Tail pipe dimensions are: I.D. 54mm O.D. 57mm O.D. of rim 70mm. Thanks, Roger.
  5. Wouldnt this also require changing the rear springs to match also maintaining the same rake.
  6. I have now checked with Trackace laser gauge and find the Toe out to be 30' (1/2 deg). The front springs are Caterham pt no 75517 which are listed as170 Lb/in. I think the ride height is acceptable and in fact there are only a couple of threads available to raise it. Possibly I need some form of sump protection if there is anything available.
  7. Okay so I've borrowed some alignment kit off a friend and fellow 7 owner. Now I'm on the learning curve as to how to use it and taken some basic measurements before making any adjustments. The main reasons for doing this are that my front tyres have scrubbed off on the inside and my dry sump pan is worn away significantly. My car is a K series SV and I'm 50/50 track and road. My tyres are 185/60 R13 front and 205/60 R13 rear. Firstly checking to see that my garage floor is reasonably level and even. My findings are: Camber. Dry Sump clearance. Condition. Fuel L. Deg. R Deg. -1.5. -2.5. 82.5 mm. No driver or Passenger. 1/4 Full -1.5. -1.5. 72 mm. 85 kg driver. ,, ,, -2.0. - 2.5. 65 mm. 85 kg driver & passenger. ,, ,, My questions are how do these figures look and what adjustments should I make if any. Should I be raising the ride height and where on the chassis should I be taking the height measurements from. Tomorrow I'll try to figure out how to check the toe and would also appreciate recommendations as to what it should be.
  8. Advice required as to where to buy C spanners for adjusting Bilstein coil overs.
  9. Thanks guys that all makes sense.
  10. I'd like to take my 7 through France to Spain on my car trailer. When I Google this it suggests in France I'm limited to 750 KG gross. Surely this can't be correct as people tour Europe with caravans.
  11. Well thanks ECR that makes more sense. For my single axle trailer running on 155/70R12 104/101 N tyres. Each tyre is rated at 900kg Max pressure 95 PSI Anticipated Gross weight of Trailer + Car = 1062 kg My calculation: 95 divide by 900 x 531 = 56 PSI.
  12. Having just purchased an Ifor Williams CT 115 single axle trailer for my 7 I'm surprised to see the recommended pressure is 95 PSI. As this is the max stated pressure on the Cargomax tyres I would have expected the running pressure would be somewhat less. I'm interested to know others views.
  13. That looks a great price. I'm surprised is hasn't got a sold sticker by now.
