  1. Ed, in Bedfordshire, I thought worth a go as a decent spec head so worth saving.
  2. Hi, looking to get a nice ported K Series aluminium cylinder head welded on one combustion chamber following valve/piston contact, any recommendations on someone who could do it? It’s just the welding required. Regards Paul

  4. That’s the one John, I recently fitted an Apollo kit and I got to 15lbft for sandwich union ensuring new seal and it aligns square by not attaching pipes tank end.
  5. There is a installation guide from club magazine a few years ago available if you do a Google search ( I also have it if required). It gives helpful advise on tightening the sandwich plate and how far to go. If a used kit advise replacing sandwich oil seal.
  6. I always put a smear of automotive silicone on the water rail gasket either side before attaching and around the water inlet on the plastic manifold, DVA recommendation IIRC

  9. Apologies may have already been mentioned, on source of connectors if you are making your own. Emerald can supply the coil end connectors and the loom end is standard Econseal
  10. On re reading post I believe you are only looking for silencer so full system might be not appropriate

  13. Wanted - S Type headrest. I am looking for a single headrest, cloth or leather, condition not important so long as headrest frame and foam reusable. Anyone got a spare lying around? Thanks in advance Paul
  14. If not already mentioned it is possible to change the CRB without full engine removal, it involves sliding the engine forward just enough to change the CRB. If I remember there is a guide here on the site. Although if not conclusive it’s the CRB worth checking clutch and other components via full engine removal.
