  1. Driving past Park Cameras today at 1.20pm…
  2. Thankyou! That might help us. i see redline have the 5 speed fulcrum pin on their website. Wouldn’t it be the same for my 6 speed (wet sump) ? Thanks Julian
  3. I have ordered all the parts except for a clutch fork pivot pin. I wonder is it likely to have been broken, should I get one of those in case and where can I get one (very) quickly to have it just in case please? Thanks
  4. Thanks John will look into this!
  5. CRB sounds fairly conclusive! Thanks.
  6. Hi i checked my clutch cable, looked a bit worn so replaced it. Still no good, almost impossible to get a gear. Another observation, running the engine trying to get into gear there is a noisy chatter when clutch is depressed. Thx
  7. Hi “If I get in gear” it is no different to how it used to be. Cable clutch..
  8. Hi My 6 speed has always been sweet as a nut (usual difficult into 2nd when cold but otherwise okay). Today it was horrible, sudden change, difficult/impossible to get into 1st, 2nd and 3rd at times… balking, crashing refusing to go in gear,, 4th and higher okay but not as slick as has been. Now I am worried, less than 2 weeks before a big trip. Any ideas what the problem might be? The only thing I have done that I can imagine might have affected the gear change is a new near side engine mount? Appreciate some wise experiences… Thanks, Julian
  9. Hi JK, mine looks exactly as Stus picture except I have bolts which have a larger head with Allen key at the end and a stud nearest the engine at the top. I think I will replace the bolts/stud and install as Stu!s photo which is much neater. Thankyou Stu, very helpful photo. Cheers, Julian
  10. Hi I am fitting a WOSP LMS430 to my K series. I needed to rotate the plate so the solenoid was underneath the motor unit. When its in it’s ideal? location at the bottom it obscures the lowest fixing bolt. Do i need to replace with a stud and nut to keep the solenoid away from my (VHPD) primaries or should I rotate it a lot closer to them to have easy access for the standard bolt which doesn’t feel quite right to me? Thx Julian
  11. Hello Pete I saw that thanks. I will probably go for it if I can’t find the insulation backed type. Cheers, Julian
  12. Insulation around the starter that has seen better days!
  13. Hey JK 👍 I guess mine is spaced off the starter, by 10mm insulation LOL That is what I like about it too! Julian
  14. Hi I have a piece of insulation with a foil face wire tied around my starter to protect it from the exhaust heat. It has deteriorated quite a bit over the years so would like to replace it with something, the same preferably. What is this product please? The insulation is about 10mm thick and made of a very dense Rockwool type product, with the foil on the outside? Thanks, Julian
