'Gusto', who used to frequent these pages until he sold his SLR a couple of years ago, has ordered an AMV8 and asked me to post details of his GT3, which will be coming up for sale. However, so that he doesn't forget how to drive a real car, he might consider a suitable Caterham in part/ex . So, here's your chance to own one of the greatest 911s.

 

- 2000(V) GT3 Comfort

- UK supplied and serviced by Porsche (FPSH)

- Gus bought it from Porsche Swindon in Dec 2003 and it has just had its annual service

- Speed Yellow with black leather bucket seats, climate control, sound upgrade, etc

- Immaculate, absolutely original and not modified

- It has only covered 12,800 miles dry road use (with less than 2 hours of light track use)

- Mk1 GT3s are preferred by many enthusiasts and were built in limited numbers (99 UK)

- Suitable for road or track or both.

This one is fantastic, I drove it yesterday. Very good road manners yet feels as sharp as a Caterham. Mk1s seem nicer than Mk2s.

 

I've commited to a 997GT3 (sept build), but seriously tempted by this one at a huge cost saving .

This is a lovely car though haven't seen him for a while he took my son round Combe in it.

 

He'll need a Caterham cos the Aston won't start that often
