Richie Posted May 30, 2000 Share Posted May 30, 2000 Under acceleration the red ignition light on the dash of my Caterham (1995 1.4K Rover Supersports that I race in the M750) illuminates. Until recently I have never noticed this, so I do not believe that it has been doing it since I bought the car in October 1999. It always lights just before reaching the rev limiter, and now intermittantly lights at differing brightnesses during acceleration. Is this a problem? I also have found that I am losing power every now and then under acceleration, this is obviously a problem during a race. I have not linked it to the ignition light, it may be the fact that I run with as little fuel as possible, and sometimes the fuel is not getting to the engine???? Any suggestions?
