Occasional grinding noise when cornering

Dickie Normuss

Occasionally when cornering with enthusiasm there's a grinding noise coming from the rear, suggestions where to look The diff's hopefully going to road and race in a week or two and I'll check the rear bearings, should I be looking anywhere else?

Seek forgiveness, not permission.

Rules are for the interpretation of wise men and the obedience of fools.

Ric check out the hand break cables, if they are not zip tied to the A-frame then they can move about and rub on the inside of the wheel rim, as they are steel they tend to make a horrible grinding noise, far worse than it really is. If you look at the inside wheel rims you should be able to tell

The first time I had this I thought the diff was about to explode
