Chris Eccles
Golden rule Don’t blame SWMBO for the incident, its hard enough trying to explain why you need "that stupid car" or it is in my case (are two children allowed on the passenger seat?) Mike Oxbiggar
SWMBO was, until around 0900 yesterday, always on at me to upgrade this, upgrade that, get another 50 BHP etc.... She's the only SWMBO I've heard who gets upgradeitus, yet she doesn't drive the 7! (It's the old "you'll never reach the pedals trickl") Yesterday proved that 135ish BHP was enough! Mike Oxbiggar
Strongy CR500s at Llandow, swapped to tractor tyres on Saturday evening for the run to Stoneleigh. strongy
Best of luck getting it fixed, I'm sure Millwoods will look after you and it'll be as good as new ready for the BB. Are you going to get any upgrades done at the same time Cheers Dry-sumped White Supersprint
Mike Oxbiggar
Strongy. It's the driver who needs the effing upgrades! Will no doubt find something to spend some money on if it's going into Millwoods for a while. Haven't spoken to them yet though. Meanwhile, back on the topic, my chosen word for today is.......... MarcNS
I am going to de clam the 7 later this year as cycles are the future for track driving. even on the car the club built. Question: Has anyone ever changed from cycles to clams 🤔 🤔 I think the answer is no, although there may be some white 7's out there which may be an exception to the norm 😬
strongy
I think its quite straight forward Marcus. 1. Remove clams, fill the 14 holes left behind (or a re-skin and paint if you are feeling flush) 2. New steering rack 3. Wing/light stays Plenty of info if you do a quick search in the tech talk archieves.
