Potentially for sale - Sump and bellhousing

Recommended Posts

Friend at work bought a K-series Caterham sump and bellhousing a few years ago for a non-Caterham project, but never used them.

Asked me today if they were likely to be worth anything...

Looking at previous postings, about £120 each seems like the going rate - anyone care to comment? Could be collected from Bicester / Gaydon areas.

If anyone is provisionally interested, Blatmail me and if he decides to sell, I'll put you in touch *thumbup*

These are both brand new, still in the Caterham packaging.

The sump has 'CATERHAM ROVER' cast into it, as does the bellhousing. Must be the original K-Series parts, as mine (2003 kit) has 'CATERHAM' on the sump and nothing (IIRC) cast on the bellhousing. I presume they will kit any K-Series though.

He's still not decided whether to sell, but let me know if you are interested *thumbup*

I still have not been able to get the owner to commit to whether he actually does want to sell or not...

As these have sat in the gargae unused for several years I woul have thought they could go, but he seems attached to them.

I've mailed all those who contacted me, an will let you know any developments when (if) they occur.

Sorry for the lack of updates on this...

The sump and bellhousing are still available, but the seller would prefer to sell everything as one lot and wouldn't be prepared to sell for less than £300. This would be on a collection basis (Bicester area).

If anyone is interested, I have some pictures and his contact details and can forward them on.
