It will be specialy designed for the aluminium engine and head you have and will save on all those head gasket problems you all go on about. It is biodegradable and recyclable. Importantly, it can be disposed of in most on-site waste treatment systems whereas ethylene glycol needs to be removed from the site for disposal." Restricted supply of Propylene Glycol is more likely to be that it is not as commercially viable in a product range as the more common Ethylene Glycol products, not that it is less suitable for a particular engine. As far as I'm aware, for an aluminium engine such as the K, the correct coolant should be PG based and not diluted. Stu. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
