de-dion rear disks

Folks,

I am interested in how Caterham managed to squeeze their sierra caliper based rear disk setup inside a 13" wheel.

Looking at some pictures I can see how the caliper mounts to the de-dion ear to clear the wheel. A have a few Q's:

What are the rear disks from and how are they attached to the hub? They look like a front disk that has been bolted through a spacer.

Otherwise the bearing carrier and hub look like standard ford items. Correct?

Many Thanks,

Richard Miles

Standard Caterham rear discs are identical to the fronts. ie Triumph herald based but with Ford pcd for the studs. They are bolted to the rear hubs directly. The hubs are bespoke items I think but the bearing carriers are Ford parts unaltered.

Caterham race rear brakes are different, they use different discs to change the offset towards the centre of the car to suit the race caliper. They are bolted to the same hubs thro a spacer, with modified Ford bearing carriers (the OD is turned down to clear the disc).
