Doug
Very reluctantly, I am selling my pride and joy due to family commitments. The car was built by Raceline in 2000 to the same spec as their own competition car. The donor car was a 1996 x-flow but was completely rebuilt; the chassis went back to Arch, was then powder coated before being built up to current spec. It has done less than 5000 since, with no track days (sadly ☹️). The spec is as follows: - Zetec 2.0 litre with Lumenition throttle bodies. 200 bhp; 165 lb ft torque - almost flat curve. BGH close ratio 5-speed gearbox Competition clutch (new) English (Ford) live axle with Quaif LSD and rose jointed A-Frame AP Big brakes Momo QR wheel 13" Minilite type wheels. Leather seats 'Quick' steering rack A fabulous car in terrific condition and I'm gutted at having to sell £13,995 Edited by - doug on 14 Apr 2006 14:48:

Doug
Come on... this is a fab car and cost over £26,000 to build in 2000 😳 A well set up live axle car is arguably better on track than a de dion - lighter too

Firemang
Hi Doug, Does this comes with weather gear.mot, etc ...sorry if this is a stupid question as i know it seems to be set up as a track car. Do you have any pics? Thanks Ian
Doug
Ian Sorry for the delay in replying. The car has all the usual weather equipment, doors, hood and rear tonneau/boot cover. It has an FIA roll bar... and a heater! It would be perfect for touring or, if you wanted to strip out the heater etc, as a competition car. It will have a new MOT and I can email you photos. I'm just sorry that I've not had the chance to use it properly myself. Doug Edited by - Doug on 21 Apr 2006 11:52:

Frying Pan
Doug No problem Hope you sell, but wish you weren't... Are you coming to Stoneleigh on Sunday? You could park it amongst 100s of potential customers (free entry) and have a big FOR SALE sign in the windscreen. (Unless this breaks the rules 😳 - might be good to check with Colin S) Guy See some pictures of the build here. 9000 miles completed!
Doug
This fabulous car is still available and a cheap way to serious modern Ford power. I can email photos on request. Edited by - Doug on 14 May 2006 18:07:
Doug
In case anyone is unsure, the car has full weather equipment and a heater! 4 x mint HPCs with Avon ZZ1 and larger front wings are available too.
