Jason Plato
Hello I know its been covered in the past and I have done a search honest But now I have a Saftey devices R400 cage and I'm not quite sure of the requirements. When I'm sat in my moulded seat, the rear of helmet is about 25mm - 35mm forward of the padded roll cage X member . Which is about the same distance that my helmet used to sit away from my head rest with the std FIA bar. I dont think I need a head rest - but I dont want to fall foul of the officials for something so simple
Adrian Williams
Dave, I have a nasty feeling that the headrest has to be a minimum of 100mm x 100mm or something similar ☹️ Adrian

GTD
Minor hijack - does a Caterham tillet need an additional head restraint bracket behind it? I know we did in the race series but that's 'cos the Regs said so, not the blue book (IIRC) - what about sprints?
