Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted April 11, 2006 Leadership Team Share Posted April 11, 2006 Are these the same seats on ebay here? Stu.
Peter T
They are damaged beyond repair, the kevlar has delaminated and structualy the have no strength , especially as the damage is around the mounting holes.
Dickie Normuss
I wouldn't even consider bidding on them given their safety critical nature, sadly someone will Seek forgiveness, not permission. Rules are for the interpretation of wise men and the obedience of fools.
R500MATT
Just to make it perfectly clear I have stated these seats are damaged............so whoever buys them knows exactly what they are getting....................
John Ryan
Sorry Matt, but that's not quite the point, is it....... PS - Not meant to be a personal comment.
Wahey
good to see they went for good money - whoever bought them knows what they were buying and I am sure they will have some fun fixing them and getting them something like straight again. Excellent.
Peter T
I think £240 is not a lot of money for your own safety, especially as they could fail in the event of an accident and have potential life threatening consequences. Still Matt did state they were damaged so at least he can rest easy. Now they are sold pehaps you should close this thread.
