Pierre Gillet Posted May 25, 2000 Share Posted May 25, 2000 To fit an oil temperature emitter on my 1.6K Seven, some of you have recommended that I use holes that are not used on the oil filter housing. I have spotted two of those holes. The first one is pointing down and is "blind" and not threaded. The second one has a plug on ( an hex drive screw)and is ponting toward the engine. Tim Seipel Posted May 25, 2000 Share Posted May 25, 2000 Move the combined pressure sender and pressure switch unit to the tapping pointing downwards to the engine as this only needs to sense pressure not be in the flow.
