Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted April 6, 2006 Leadership Team Share Posted April 6, 2006 Does anyone please have the part number for the Green Stuff Pads for Alcon Front Brakes as fitted by James Whiting? Also, any recommendations for the best place to buy these? Thanks, Michael.
CageyH
James Whiting? As a hijack, what are the alcon brakes like? I am thinking of upgrading soon, and don't want the cost of having to replace the AP discs at £120 a time....

neil.cavanagh
I'm running them to... and very good they are. No need for the expense of caterham big jobbies as these do the job very well!! Nick, what discs do you have? are they grooved/drilled or just standard solids? Slighyl OT... Mike, how are you and Tam getting up to Angelsey next week? Are you blatting or trailering? Just wondering if I can off load some stuff onto you if your trailer trashing it up ! 😬 😬
Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted April 6, 2006 Author Leadership Team Share Posted April 6, 2006 Hi - they are a great improvement on the standard Caterham set-up which I was never very happy with. They are also lighter, and cost effective as they use the same disk. All in all, from me. Neil, I'm afraid we're not trailer trash, so we'll not have any spare space. Sorry! Michael.
