DaveK Posted January 21, 2002 Share Posted January 21, 2002 Chris You can fit it either way depending on how you want to work on the engine. If you mount it on the bellhousing face remove clutch/flywheel first. I made a square plate that bolted to the plate on the engine stand and fixed a engine mounting to this so it picked up the original engine mountings on the side of the block. this allows you access to the flywheel end so you can fit this on the stand rather than on the floor after removal. CHRIS CLARK Posted January 21, 2002 Share Posted January 21, 2002 Chris. With my 'K' I used the supplied adjustable mounts with my eng. stand and fitted the unit on sideways.
