prs
I've just noticed this www.moto-build.com a new 2 piece HG, anybody got any knowledge on this. Is this any better than the Mike Satur gasket. Phil S7SVN
Frying Pan
One of our technical instrustors showed me this the other day - we now supply for the K1.8 in the Freelander. May be cheaper as a Land Rover part. I can get the part number tomorrow.... Guy See some pictures of the build here. 8000 miles completed!
oilyhands
The part number is LRLVB500190, it is a 5 layer MLS gasket with 8 thou thick coated steel shim that bears up against the head. These were used on the Land Rover K series engine line. Bear in mind that this gasket is less tolerant of uneven and low liners than the regular OEM Payen gasket. It comes with an optional uprated oil rail in 356 alloy, part number LRCN000140L. Street price is £32 for the gasket and £39 for the oil rail. I stock both. oily
