More Info:

For 2005, the 'Coupe de France' SVR400 race series will be using the new CSR260 Cosworth Duratec engine. Caterham Cars will be exchanging the existing special R400 units for the new Duratec engines.

As a result, Caterham Cars will have on offer a maximum of fourteen of the unique French specification 205bhp, ex-SVR400 engines, spec as follows, at very special prices.

Notes:

i) These engines were built for race use only and have a race mapped ECU.

ii) Drivability on the road with a race map may not suit some drivers.

iii) As supplied, the race map will not pass MOT emissions for 'S' reg or later.

vi) Caterham Cars can offer a limited re-mapping service to suit MOT.

v) ECU access is available for customers who wish to re-map the ECU themselves, or through a third party, though this may invalidate any warranty agreement.

vi) The induction and exhaust noise synonymous with the R400 race car may not suitable for noise restricted track days.
