Wheel nuts - preferably stainless

jono

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for some new wheel nuts for my de-dion 7 as the existing ones look really tatty.

Stainless would be nice and solve the problem of the chrome coming off - are they available does anyone know?

If not where is best to obtain some replacement chrome items?

Cheers *thumbup*

They seem to hold mine just fine, I was told by friend that sells wheels for a living that there is only one thread size and taper for wheel nuts/bolts (excluding flat fitting wheel nuts). I believe there was a thread about titanium nuts a while ago.

I’ll check the weight of the open-ended nuts soon.

I posted the thread on the wheel titanium wheel nuts.

They are black and very light.

There are two styles, one looks like a normal bolt and they are open at the back, the other is like a smooth tube tapered at the end and you use an allen key to undo them, as a result they are lighter again.
