jono
I'm looking for some new wheel nuts for my de-dion 7 as the existing ones look really tatty. Stainless would be nice and solve the problem of the chrome coming off - are they available does anyone know? If not where is best to obtain some replacement chrome items? Billyboy
Is the taper the same as the one required for the anthracite CC wheels? These look good - but a little expensive! http://www.lap-tab.co.uk/nuts.php Edited by - Billyboy on 13 Mar 2006 17:00:
Adrian M
They seem to hold mine just fine, I was told by friend that sells wheels for a living that there is only one thread size and taper for wheel nuts/bolts (excluding flat fitting wheel nuts). I believe there was a thread about titanium nuts a while ago. I’ll check the weight of the open-ended nuts soon. Ade

Phil
I posted the thread on the wheel titanium wheel nuts. They are black and very light. There are two styles, one looks like a normal bolt and they are open at the back, the other is like a smooth tube tapered at the end and you use an allen key to undo them, as a result they are lighter again.
