DTHTB's

Recommended Posts

I have a set of DTHTB's ready to go onto my engine when i have it re-built & it currently has the black plastic rover fuel rail fitted with a round cylinder on one end (dont know what that is???) with the large fuel inlet & the small outlet at other end (end with cylinder on)

I have seen a piccie with an ali fitted rail without the cylinder & goodridge hoses in & out.

can the original rover fitted plastic one with cylinder be directly replaced with the ali one & what size hose fitments are they on the goodridge hoses plse

what is the cylinder object on the end, looks like something for air ??? *confused*

good job someone will be doing the work for me, i would make a real mess

Mark,

The cylindrical object is the fuel pressure regulator.

The stock fuel rail is adequate for the job, you will just be wasting your money, you will need a fuel rail (£50?) connectors (£20) and a fuel pressure regulator (£50?) to do the job that the stock fuel rail does rather well.
